New programs for SWRNA members

SWRNA is creating new ways to help our members.

Certification Testing assistance: To make it easier for members to obtain specialty certifications. Members applying for or renewing a specialty certification can receive up to $100 in financial assistance to offset the cost of certification testing. These funds are in addition to assistance offered by WSNA through ANA.

Continuing Education assistance: To assist members to attend educational conference and workshops. Members can receive up to $200 to offset the cost of continuing education registration fees.

Scholarships: To provide educational support to students entering the field of nursing, and to members seeking an advanced degree. SWRNA will offer three $1,000 scholarships annually.

Buswell Fund: To assist members at PeaceHealth SW Medical Center encountering periods of financial need. Members can receive up to $100 to meet personal financial needs. The Buswell Fund is named for a former patient whose relatives made a donation in honor of the care she received.
