Studies show that most healthcare providers receive little to no training on transgender health issues.

It is essential to educate each member of the team in areas of treatment and cultural differences that impact care. This workshop will lay a foundation of knowledge on transgender healthcare, enabling clinicians to leave the session with tools that can be implemented directly into care across the continuum.

It offers a certificate of completion for 2.5 hours that meets the continuing competency requirement for license renewal in Washington State.
