We proudly serve the nursing community in Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Pacific, Skamania, and Wahkiakum counties through several programs.

Nominations are now open for the Southwest Region Nurses Association Board of Directors and Nominations Committee.
Student Scholarships
We provide $1,000 scholarships to SWRNA members pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in nursing. Students with a permanent address in our region or attending a school located in our region are eligible.

Certification Testing Assistance
We want to make it a little easier for members to obtain specialty certifications. Members applying for or renewing a specialty certification can receive up to $150 in financial assistance to offset the cost of certification testing.
Continuing Education Assistance
We provide financial assistance of up to $250 to offset members’ continuing education expenses, such as conference or workshop registration fees and travel costs.
Buswell Fund
We help members of the PeaceHealth SW Medical Center local unit encountering periods of financial hardship. Members can receive up to $150 to meet personal financial needs. The Buswell Fund is named for a former patient whose relatives made a donation in honor of the care she received at PeaceHealth SW Medical Center.
